That is where you will see the true hypocrisy of this place. Idol was apparently a priority. I don't blame Llandris though. He cannot make moves without decisions from the top. He's just the one in the spotlight atm because he's actively posting.

as stated in my previous post, that you quoted, i thought 'nagoya' was a nice set of syllable for a fantasy halfling, regardless of my inspiration. the inspiration of the player behind the name is a story in itself, but in-within the game, it is perfectly acceptable to think that some halfling people named their daughter 'nagoya' with no outside inspiration whatsoever.

MY inspiration as a human being was a real-world city.
the inspiration of the hypothetical parents of Nagoya the halfling in-game are obscure and a topic for another day! It's probably not a city though sorry, and you probably can't slaughter nagoya's residents.

Couple things would be nice ..

1) Posted list of pre/post nerfs
2) One time opportunity to submit petition for name change to something specific prior to receiving this type of nerf.

I have one or two toons that probably qualify for the name nerf bat but it hasn't happened yet. Would love to be able to just request a a new name rather than become "Fytjamham" or something worse magically without any other notice. It's a policy that hadn't been enforced so it gave comfort that humor or name likeness didn't seem like a problem. Though I do agree with the general desire to have us all have fantasy type names the impact of the changes seem unfortunately random. I haven't been hit yet but I'm sure it's coming.

Sorry to those receiving random names.

Ugh, I tried to watch that, but with the author's voice I couldn't get past the first two minutes of him explaining how character creation works.
