Introducing Project 1999: Green

There is no "original state" unless you can travel back in time. Classic EQ was only possible to experience in 99. We are in 2019 now, you can experience Green, which includes some non-classic features meant to emulate what it was like to play in 99, even though it is impossible now to reproduce the magic, the exploration, the mystery, the unknown, that everything was at the time.

Enjoy what Green is and stop being an elitist, you know you are being one right now.

What are you talking about? There are plenty of known classic mechanics that are being deliberately circumvented.

I don't think people understand that an MMO needs players. 1,000 people isn't that many. If you split it into two servers you might as well just go play on your own private server by yourself. There will be no economy.

I would donate $25 / mo if you enforced classic mechanics such as:

- No lists
- Remove 25 mob aoe limit
- Unroot dragons

Is this List concept only for specific items or all "rare" drop items, or will there be a list of items, or is it only items that eventually phase out of existence?
