Default EQ and Parallels

Hi Everyone,

I am not sure where best to ask this and using the search was sadly very unproductive. Does anyone know how well EQ runs on parallels in MAC? I have a mac book pro 13".

Cannot speak to Parallels but it runs under VMWare fusion but REALLY slow. I have an 8 core 2.8 ghz macpro. I use bootcamp to play it. Much smoother...

Ok, sounds like I'll use bootcamp then. Especially since parallel's can integrate with a BC partition.

Qeynos is Sony EQ backwards. Everquest was made by Verant when Qeynos was added.
Feerrott = Fear Route. Plane of Fear was not released untill quite some time after feerrott.

I have a 15" Macbook Pro and I have been trying to get parallels working. I can load up windows and log onto EQ, but everything runs slowly. Even opening simple programs like firefox is extremely slow.

Has anyone else experienced this and/or know a solution?

Are you running in fullscreen mode? Maybe that has something to do with it? Parallels might effect performance a lot more harshly depending on what kind of hard drive you have also? Personally I have an SSD so everything performs ungodly fast.. I generally play EQ in windowed mode at my desk with an external monitor and have a ton of other programs open at the same time and I suffer no performance issues. Pic shows what I usually run without any problems.. Adium, Parallels, browser, vent, and I sometimes do homework/listen to itunes with no issues. http://img441.imageshack.us/i/parallels.gif/
