Go 2 yaks until your higher lvl, my aggro in groups with RmoY and snare whip was pretty damn good and highest dps with parse, unless I had a vp geared rog around, then i would switch to 2 yaks <scimitar and yak club or rmoy>

The proc rate just seems higher on yaks than other weps and the DD + 0.0 sec stun is good.

Stack up your dexterity.

I personally dislike Sarnak Warhammer, I think its a shit weapon.

hammer while meh is prob the best for the money considering other options quite a bit higher (RMoY) etc.

OH wise I am currently using whip / BP depending on my aggro needs.. BP oh has a decent proc rate and solid stats imo though the proc is less aggro than whip.

I haven't had a chance to try yak scim / skean however

i've got a Sarnak Hammer, 2x Blood Points, a Blood Fire, a Snare Whip, and a Yak Scimitar. i leave the Yak Scimitar in the bank. imo the ratio on it sucks too much for the proc to make up for it.

Im nearing 50 and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to use Blood point or another OH over the usual snare whip (assumming sarnak hammer mh)

Budget is about 10k so no RMoY or BotBDE yet.

I know the hammer /whip is quite efficient but a lifesteal proc I feel would be quite helpful if it wouldn't gimp aggro that much. Blood fire looks interesting aswell

I use Sarnak Warhammer/Skean for agro.
BP/Whip when soloing (with truncheon) or w/e.

If your grouping all you want to do is maximize aggro, sarnak hammer and whip does exactly this. If your soloing/duoing go with the bloodpoints they rape.

i used to always use Sarnak Warhammer MH / Silken Whip of Ensnaring OH

lately i've been using a Blood Point OH though and I seem to get a bit better agro

i think maybe the proc rate on the BP is above average, but dunno for sure
