error connecting to either server

I am getting the following error when i try to pick a P99 server at the server select after logging in:

"An unknown error occurred while trying to join the server."

closing and relaunching the client does not fix anything.
i am slowly watching the population drops while signing in and re-trying.

I'm getting this too... wasn't sure if it was because I reinstalled Windows today or not.

Tried to reboot PC, router, etc... same

It happens immediately after clicking Join, so fast it doesn't seem like it even tries to connect at all
