Well, now Trumps being an idiot. Really? This isn't an emergency. It will give the next Democrat president an excuse to declare an emergency for their pet project(s). The power grab by the presidents of both parties has got to stop. I didn't like it with Bush or Obama, and I certainly don't want to see that with Trump or future presidents. Congress needs to take their power back and stop conceding their power. There are checks and balances in the constitution for a reason.

Besides, Saudi Arabia is not our friend. They have sponsored terrorism, just like Iran. The only difference is Iran is seeking nukes.

Trump has been compromised. Time for plan-B....Super Trump. (NEWSFLASH - if by some miracle a dem wins the executive office in 2020, the exact same relationship with Saudi Arabia will continue. Our relationship with the UAE, SA, and Israel is uniparty)

I think you overestimate his chances to win a second term. Sure, his support with his base is solid, but he won in 2016 by the skin of his teeth with the help of a lot of independents and some disenfranchised democrats. Do you really think those dems and independents will still support Trump today after seeing how unstable he is?

I think he only has a chance if the dems put forward someone even more batshit crazy than Trump, which is possible, but not likely.
