Literally what trump told his "children" and they believed it.

Now all the sudden, covid is this huge problem.. Only took 800,000 people to die and now, just now its an issue. I love conservatives. Just like the economy. When all the rich people were making all the money, stock records every week, money like crazy being given away by the government in tax breaks = good. Democrat takes office. omg too much money, we're making too much money! Theres too much of it! Too much money in the economy.

Who would have thought giving away trillions in tax cuts, injecting it into an economy which did not need it at all, would devalue its currency. Almost like, too much of something makes it worth less....

Tax breaks, or "cuts" exist to incentivize economic activity the US government has an interest in promoting.
