Random new issue where the incorrect spell effect / sound plays?
Just picked up Gift of Magic on my 35 Ench on Green. At first when I cast it, it has the correct Clarity animation and no sound. Now out of nowhere, when I cast it, it has the green armor spell effect and sound with it. Persists through zoning and logging fully out of client and back in.
For some reason my game is triggering the wrong file for this spell, is there any way to correct this or reset the spell effects? Thanks for any input, it’s actually more annoying then it sounds.

Any ideas? I confirmed other players are seeing the correct spell effects when I cast. Would this require re-installing the Titanium client or is there something I might be able to do outside of that?
Thanks for any suggestions guys!

Try grabbing the patch it has a SpellEffects folder in it, check your SpellEffects folder in your EQ directory and match them make sure they are the same.

Will do, thank you!
Also, perhaps I’m a giga derp? I tested again and another player said my Gift of Magic appeared like an armor buff, for them. Does that mean it’s actually the correct spell graphics? I could’ve sworn that GoM looks like Clarity when cast, and that it played that animation when I first purchased it. I’ll do what you suggest and see if anything changes. Thanks! Can anyone confirm what Gift of Magic is supposed to look like visually?

What does the spell do? Never played an Ench but just based on it's name seems like the clarity effect would be more fitting. Isn't that the effect when you give somebody the +wis or +int spells too?

Nm looked it up. Yeah seems to me that any spell involving more mana\faster mana regen would use the same effect. The green effect makes me think of AC\melee buffs.
