Telin's Classic Spell Effects ever updated?

I played with these a few years back on here and they were definitely closer to the original spell effects. Was a pretty great modification.

Does anyone know if anything similar was made recently, or if the client was ever adjusted to have more original spell effects added back in?

I'm just planning to come back for the first time in quite a few years, starting on Green.
