How City-Link Works
How City-Link works The new changes to Global OOC are fairly simple to understand. If you are in a city, you will be able to read and write what other people in cities are saying. When you are outside a city, your /OOC messages will be grouped by zone. Similar zones have been linked together, so that you can communicate with a much larger area than you would be able to if /OOC was simply in your zone only. The following maps detail exactly which zones are linked. Please keep in mind that zones are only grouped when they are touching/near each other, with the exception of cities which are colored in Red (these are all linked). For example, even though the Lavastorm/SoldungA/B/Temple zones are colored in light blue, those zones will not share an /OOC with the Feerrott/Innothule/Guk/Cazic Temple grouping. Thanks for your work but tbh a (way) easier fix would have been:
(timorous deep) Mitic: come pvp me

Well it is not working at the moment it seems. I think we can all withhold judgement till it is fixed.

If city ooc is city to city only, a server-wide auction channel would be nice.

i do see how this can fix some toxicity. when 2 guilds are on opposite sides of a zoneline, then they can shit talk and not have the whole world hear it. and when one guild wipes the other, then they'd have to resort to sending tells in order to gloat
1 suggestion: allow cities to also communicate with the adjacent zone. so if you're in Grobb, then you could (in addition to the other cities) communicate with people in the swamp. | ||
