I don't think this is true. Every RMT ring I know or have known about did not deal primarily in epics. Plat is universal.

I am not saying ppl don't RMT epics, just that the huge issue of our over epic server is not primarily a function of the RMT problem.

What do you think people are buying with the platinum they RMT? (Epics)

What they buy with RMT plat isn't relevant to the point I was making. If you take MQ epics out of the economy, RMT demand wouldn't take a huge hit.

Evidence? Or even some reasoning why you believe this?

RMT was going very strong, actually even stronger, on p99 before Kunark launch. (So not for epics.)

The big surge in epics on p99 has to do with how cheap some of them are...the reason for some epics being so cheap is a general problem with the p99 economy, not RMT directly.

The diverting path that this line of the discussion came from was someone's assertion that the MQ problems afflicting the server were connected to RMT. My point is that they are two separate issues.

Well you kinda of implied that MQs shouldn't be allowed with the thread title.

I remember there always being Dervish groups in Nro, almost competitively, and that zone is mostly dead when I pass through it. So can we have GMs change this because it's clearly not classic to me.

The dervs have their busy days still. Proximity to ec makes sure of that.
