If we can prevent deaths via treatment and can only treat X individuals at a time, isn't it wise to keep the number of simultaneous infections at or below that number?

Covid is basically airborne AIDS. Can attack T-cells. People are getting infected by the same strain after previous infections. The antibodies don't last very long. Meanwhile, every infection can cause permanent bodily damage. Not to worry anyone, but this may be an extinction event.
