Default Tiger claw timer?

Anyone knows when in EQlive timeline they made tiger claw its own CD? pretty sure kicks and strikes are on different CDs on live as we speak, but was that a thing back in classic=> Velious days?

Was probably changed around 5 or so years ago on Live to be separate timers between kicks and punch specials.

Does this mean that we can use Tiger Claw, and Round Kick together, instead of either or?

No, it's not in the timeline of Project 1999 unfortunately.

I have a question about special attacks and auto attack. Does it matter when you hit the special attack? Or should you just press it when it refreshes.

I ask because when playing in first person view, it seems that it misses more often when I press it after refresh as opposed to waiting to see my main hand weapon attack swing across the screen. Could just be imagination, but it sure seems to connect more often when I wait for a main hand attack before pressing immediately after refresh.

Edit: referring to Dragon Punch on the monk.
