Rangers are pretty fun. You don’t have to fear kite, since fear kiting is terribly fucking boring. You just need to choose the right targets. Tolan’s bracer is essential though.

I've seen a ranger with trueshot out DPS a rogue and they are super fun and I love their Call of the Predator and Call of Earth... great all around class.

He was 100% a ranger. He did wear green plate and wield the fiery avenger though, but that's just because he was a dev.
