Default Seeing DoT Damage

Trying to setup my chat windows on a Necro that I just started and I am having trouble seeing the DoT Damage, is there a setting I'm missing to show the damage from each tick?

Dot damage text was disabled because it came in far, far later than velious.
I think someone said it was added in The Legacy of Ykesha expansion but I can't confirm that.

I can live without dot damage, but I would like a message that says "your X spell is still hurting the mob". When text is flying, it's hard to see whether your dot landed or not.

That would be not classic, you had nothing on live...
Now that's a bit stupid as it render gina more or less mandatory for dot users...

You can filter Spells > Mine, and/or Spells > Failures, into your primary chat box. You could even make a special chat box just for those.

Well I'm glad it was around for the last few years, I now know how much all of my DOTs do....

Dot dmg was also nerfed it seems. Deffinately druid does less dmg vs rooted mobs outside of melee range...

This is just stupid, you failed at recreating the classic EQ, you made a better game. DOT DMG, PET WINDOWS, etc. make the game more enjoyable, quit trying to mess up Blue you already destroyed it enough with that green bullshit. Make the game better NOT classic!

Yeah not sure how it works for the Necro but on my Shaman my Disease and Poison DOTs are pretty clear whether they hit or are resisted.

edit: on green, but I'm assuming this is standardized
