Some ogre corpse with a rubi bp and ssoy is about to rot on seafury isle in the ocean of tears. I believe the name is “Better” or something like that.

I would argue it's more likely that he didn't spend any time camping those items, and when he got caught for RMT'ing them they nuked his account. Hence the reason they are about to rot.

I wish they would record all the holy smiting they do, make a montage, and upload it for our viewing pleasure. Might have the added benefit of deterring an idiot or two.

It's fine if it does rot. That is the recommended way to store your stuff when away from the game for an extended period! GMs can easily retrieve and restore the items.
