Hey buddy, I think you're in the wrong section of the forums.
I’m not your buddy, pal.

Nothing official yet but Jutebox proposed the following in the UN:

How about something like:

Statue/Aow: Sunday 4PM EST
Vyemm: Sunday: Clear starts after Statue/Aow (approx 5:30PM EST)
Naggy: Tuesday 8:30 PM EST (give west coasters time to get off work?)
Sont: Thursday 8:30PM EST
Statue/AoW: Friday 8:30PM EST if up, Saturday at 4PM EST if not up yet.

So, is this normal that all the open raid are on us time only?

I asked members of the UN to run the events for the open raids. If someone outside the US would like to run an event and we can show there's going to be enough participation then I'm all for it.

This draft idea has effectively killed the server for non-US players who work and like to raid.

As the player base is majority American based players guilds will kill their targets in their prime time, I.e North American timezone.

While it's a case of tough luck, too bad I would think approximately 15-20pct of the server is Euro, Aussie, Asian based.

There is no golden wand to help all person's but it has to be said there wasn't really much thought put into how it's going to affect the people who play and rely on batphones and "deep" night kills outside of prime time.

*Shrug*

Just some food for thought.

This is literally for one week. "Killed" is quite the hyperbole.

Blame your guild if they aren't scheduling raids for you.

I really enjoyed this event. While the time zone thing might be sucky for some, overall this is a healthy thing for the server.

The hardcore guilds can just take a collective breath and spend way fewer man hours. The more casual guilds get to see / kill some stuff they may never otherwise get to do.

Truly has been win-win, props to Jutebox for running the show.

edit: We could adjust the open raids to weekend mornings to incorporate as many time zones / work schedules as possible.
