Default Go all in on Fungi?

Posted this on Reddit but maybe I'll get some additional information here as well...

Hey guys, quick question (kinda). I have several character scattered around and have recently been consolidating and selling gear on some I don't play anymore (55 druid/45 pally/53 bard). I am currently holding on to ~26k. I have a rogue that I like but have recently been playing a monk (level 30) and I like him better than any other character I have. I can sell everything I have on him (the rogue) and make another additional ~16k. That will leave me with 42k total with only the gear remaining on monk. I have a near full set of black pantherskin armor, wedding rings, SCHW (for sweet haste), and Wu's quivering staff. So...

Do you think it would be worth it to sell the rest of my gear and get a Fungi OR should I use the 26k I have now and get something like Imbued Fighters Staff and a Runebranded Girdle? Will a fungi make a huge difference in grouping/soloing? (Iksar Monk btw)

Thanks for reading my quick question lol.

Fungi and a trash weapon with cheap haste is far superior to 40-45k worth of low to mid tier gear spread across all slots.

I vote for the iksar monk with the fungi. You'll use it for a long time. Some extra regen while you're waiting for hp is nice too.(after you're geared and mend is down)
I can't ever advise selling another char's gear but if it's a commitment you can live with, go for it.

---
15(regen) * 60(mend downtime in ticks) = 900hp
Let's say you have 4k life,. mend is 25% so 1k.
You can get aprox as much life from 6 mins of the fungi as you would popping a mend.
removing racial regen from the math.

bang per buck (plat) you will get more from the fungi.

you'll want to upgrade the haste item eventually too, but right now fungi has much more utility imo.

Yes, absolutely, get a fungi. You will never replace it, and monk weapons are already easy and cheap to come by. There's no comparison, it will upgrade your group and solo capabilities on a completely different level than getting an IFS/better haste.

Fungi is simply the best monk bp you can get in game for your whole leveling career along with 99.9% of the time at 60 raiding. Stats cannot replace 15 a tick passive regen. Had sleeper not been woken, lungi would have been the best. Velious bps and the stats they give aren’t worth it comparatively.

You’ll never replace it.

I’d vote better naked with WQS, fungi and cheap haste than 45k filling out all your spots with decent gear, better haste and a better weapon.

Fungi is the way to go, especially since it seems like you have a bunch of characters who could equip it anyway when/if you get tired of your monk! but it's def a game changer on a monk

fungi allows you to easily solo 1-30 with trash/decent gear in other slots. Still very good 30+ but you can feel it's effectiveness start to slowly diminish.

Fungi/Good Weapon/Haste item all you really need to make the starting levels feel like nothing.

You already had your question answered but you can also port around on your druid to come up with some extra funds to grab some extra weapons in the future if you really need to. (or go farm some easy stuff) /shrug
