Can someone explain why this content is locked for a given period of time?

Is it a punishment for bad behavior by the raiding guilds?

I'm genuinely asking here not being a smart ass or something. I have no idea what goes on besides the random rants and flames threads I read occasionally.

Every three months there's a draft on blue, if you're familiar with fantasy football its like that but the raid capable guilds draft raid mobs (or a combo pack/zone of raid mobs) each pick until all the targets are taken. They then get a week to kill their picks without anyone else being allowed to take it. So this is the week that raid mobs are locked out from anyone but the guild who drafted it to kill.

Guilds have been disbanded for bad behavior, so it does happen.

But I know what you mean. Staff does what it can.

That was in the Sirken era. There is no real punishment for breaking raid rules or server rules over and over and over and over and over. You can even 2 box and if you're the right person you'll get away with it.

Basically P99 is a microcosm of the real world, if you have the right connections or are "too big to fail" you don't get punished or sent to jail for stuff that normal plebs do, at worst you get a little slap on the wrist for publicity.

The only difference is the "elite" in P99 are terminally online obese balding nerds.
