I called it S-oh for all of EQ live. Then I played P1999 and got vent. It's now S-ow. Just more fun to say, imo.

Since it's spelled s-o-w it should be pronounced like the actual word.

But... there's also an actual word that is pronounced s-ow, as in a female pig.

Which makes your post a little bit ironic, guineapig.

Also, if you pronounce it like the noun, there is no room for confusion as to what word you mean, whereas if you pronounce it like the verb, you could just as well mean 'sew', or 'so'.

So, I pronounce it like the pig. I think that sews it up.
