I can log in....to all sky box

So, I followed the Joe Leonard instructions for installing the game. At character creation I noticed something was off - there was only the avatar and a blue sky, no ground, just floating. Log in and same thing, I see the npcs and other players but there is no world - just sky box above and below. Its obvious the world is there, just not showing, I can move around, talk to npcs, bump into invisible walls over and over....don't even know where to start.

When you extracted the patch you overwrote the folders, replacing their contents with only what was in the patch - when it should have only replaced the specific files within the folders. Reinstall the game, and then when you install the patch take care to not overwrite the folders themselves.

Also a good opportunity to NOT install under Program Files - which will save you future headache.
