It will cost you about 1-2k plat to pump research to it's trainable max?
Worth it in my opinion.


Make sure you keep Research at 0 until you're level 49+ That way you'll get the max freely given skill. Then pay to train the rest of the way it's able. You'll be paying more if you click train research (from ZERO) at a lower level.

These aren't the exact numbers but here is an example:
level 16 clicks train button for research, having 0 skill and gets 1 skill
level 49 clicks train button for research, having 0 skill and gets 70 skill

Research is level capped by the way. So you can't zoom up to a high level of research right away. You'll have time to re-evaluate your options.

morel like 5k plat to max research its a pita

i wanted to try just dioing mad combines of junk runes and spells over the varying levels once to save my points, but i never got around to seeing if its viable, its proably worth vender diving on green for research mats and leveling it that way, put your points into faerie
