Thanks Lhancelot! I'm trying to not do true RP and not do the story of a guy playing a video. I'm trying to find some middle ground. One that allows for the full immersion into the game and gaming concepts while still being aware the whole time that this is JUST A GAME.

I see! I admire this ability, I don't think I could straddle the line between the two and keep the story engaging etc.
