Troubles with returning to p99
Hi I havnt played in about two years.
1. Reinstalled titanium 2. downloaded the p99 files 3. extracted files to C: programs (86x) sony everquest 4. first problem occured. McaFee flag and quarentined a file. I read the posts on that there not malicious I just didnt find a way to keep them from getting flagged 5. Shut off realtime scanning and RE extracted files. 6. Second problem occurs when I attempt to run EQ a little box pops up that says "Patching Everquest" connecting but after a few minutes says failure could not establish a connection. Any tips would be helpful thanks. | ||

you're supposed to be using eqgame.exe to connect, not everquest.exe

I have a vauge memory that you had to edit some eq text file from eqemu. Is that still a thing?

thanks. I can log on and play but I have to disable mcafee real time scanning and put in the p99 zip files every time I play. Is there anyway to deal with this? its a pain in the ass but ill suffer it if necessary

use another anti-virus or disable it entirely when you're playing/interacting with the folder
