Default GPU vs Integrated Graphics

I used GeForce control panel to set my eq files to use my GPU and it always showed up as my GeForce card in the advanced display options window in game and I never used to lag. But now its showing up as my Integrated Graphics and it seems like its not running as well as usual. My GPU Activity window says eq is using the GPU, but Im not sure why it doesnt show up as my GPU in game anymore, and why the game isnt running as well...anyone else experience this or have some tips?

Do you have your integrated graphics card completed disabled in your bios/UEFI?

Windows 8 is annoying when trying to access the UEFI.

It has fast start up enabled by default (basically a hybrid hibernate) so you have to either be really fast hitting the F2 (or whatever your mobo has) button or do a restart like this.

https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht081446

Click the Advanced start up option on the recovery page.
