You guys have created your own reality where it is blatantly obvious that Russia is a huge deal and we all should be interested in whether or not Trump worked with Russians during the 2016 election against Clinton in an explicitly colluding fashion.
I -- and most Americans said -- "who gives a shit? There are more important issues to use 80% of media airtime for." But then the establishment attempts to shame you into accepting this investigation is 100% serious and legitimate. Even though its stretched on for like 2 fuckin' years and is a total circus like the Benghazi hearings x12.
Now, if Russian hackers were proven to have hacked our voting technology and changed votes, now I'm interested. But I'll need a little proof.

Nice strawman to make your argument stronger - now here is the actual position that people who have paid attention tothe Russia investigation have:
Initially it was just odd behavior - firing people (Flynn, Yates, Comey), Sessions' recusal and apparent Alzheimers when it came to the campaign. It was just a bit weird and suspicious. The PP tape was just a meme at this point. Who cares if Trump likes to bathe in urine, everyone kinda assumes that.
Then there was the changing story - No collusion at all with the Trump Organization, then the goal posts moved, if there was collusion, it wasn't the president. If there was collusion its not a crime, a sitting president can't be indicted. I mean that's a weird progression, why go through the trouble if you're not guilty? Again suspicious.
Until about last December I remember thinking to myself 'This is getting pretty old, all this talk about Mueller but there was nothing to show for it' there were several guilty pleas from the campaign, Flynn, Popadopolwhatever. Something happened - What was it? People don't plead guilty when they aren't guilty, especially these rich white men associated with Trump. But maybe it was unrelated to the campaign.
Then the February Indictment. Facts - something did happen, and it was big enough to bring charges. Manafort/Gates arrested. Van Der Zwann extradited and charged with 30 days in prison. Gates cooperated. At this point people have every reason to be interested in whats going on, and have every reason to support the investigation since it's digging up criminals. Was Trump a crook? Did he collude with Russia? I don't know, but I'm suspicious, lets let the detectives continue to follow the trail.
Then the Cohen Referral - the Hannity/Trump connection - PRETTY WEIRD especially since Hannity had been pulling his teeth out defending Trump. Another step closer to the President.
Then the June Indictment. Facts - additional Russian officials working for the government found to be behind spearphishing the DNC, stealing data, planting malware. The next Monday Trump responds by denying it even happened while standing next to the man who Leads the Russian government. If that doesn't throw up a red flag at this point you are working really hard to be ignorant or you're just too entrenched in your side to admit there is something wrong here. There is a reason to give a shit.
Is Trump a crook? I don't know yet, but he sure as hell acts suspicious, uses slippery language, and surrounds himself with a lot of sketchy individuals. It's well worth paying attention to current events right now.
