For 50-100pp you can get a Brell's Kep Popper. It doesn't have stats but it's got a very good ratio (15/35) compared to the newbie area dropped clubs.

Also Azeam, if you're inclined to do some solo work - check out the almighty Swish Cleric Solo Leveling guide 2000(tm) on the P99 wiki. Some good routes for burning down the undead... just work on your WIS when you can, get:-

+3 WIS earrings (11pp each to make)
+6 WIS rings (101pp each to make)
+7 WIS/STR veil (200ish to make?)

= 25 WIS for starters.

... obviously jewelcrafters will bump their prices higher up than the make cost, but if you can find a sympathetic one then they might do them for you at trade prices. I've only got a JC on red sadly or I'd make them for you.

There's one for sale now for 1300pp, which is pretty low.
Have seen them auctioned for up to 2k.

Good ratio 2hb, can probably grab for ~100pp. It's only effectively 10/24 until level 10, then it's 11/24 thereafter.

^^ Easy offhand quest to look into at lvl 15. You might need some help (invis helps), but its just 1 guy you've gotta kill, then spend a couple plat, and bam, 10 wis/10mana offhand.

About 6 wis rings:

Wis is worth 0.2 mana per char level per wisdom (at least on my sham). So 6 wis is only 12 mana at lvl 10, 24 mana at lvl 20, etc.

Raw HP is huge at lower levels. A dead cleric can't heal anybody!

Free armor, some of which has nice cleric stats. You'll probably wanna wait until your 20s at least to pick some up. You'll need a port to DL, invis, lev, and maybe someone to draw away the entrance mobs. Go when the zone's crowded and most mobs will be cleared 100% of the time, so you can safely grab rots. Just /ooc that you're looking for jarsath scale armor and supple scale armband rots.
