you dont have to play obsessively to have fun in everquest

that said, im not sure how much fun you'll have as a wizard. soloing by quadding to 60 is pretty boring and your options at 60 arent that fun anyway. i vote if you come back, you either pick a really fun soloing/farming class, or you pick a super-desirable group class, so you can make the most of limited play time

Everyone you knew is gone. There are so many 60s that leveling your current character is a waste of time, and no one wants wizards anyways. There's no reason to make new characters here since the Green server is coming out later this year.

This game is a drug, an escape from reality. Know that every time you play it, you’re sacrificing some sort of real life, tangible gain. The scary part is that it also provides an extremely false sense of accomplishment. If you could look back on your life and honestly have no regrets playing this game for hours on end, then so be it. If not, walk away and never look back.
