My brother had this thought -
You're adventuring out in the middle of the world and get splattered, dying to whatever mob you thought you could defeat. Somewhere else in the world, your _new_ body appears quite naked (bind point). Yet through the power of clerical magic, you can destroy that new body and wind up back in your old (and starting to rot) corpse! So what happened to your new body - consumed by magic? And if you decide to leave your old corpse there (since it can last for seven days and nights), how come the local small wildlife do not begin scavenging your rotting flesh? Back to the original topic - what exactly did the merchants do prior that they have a never-ending bank account? "Sure - I'll pay you x platinum for this item that I currently have a couple hundred laying around!" Or better still, you come strolling into their booth or store, wearing the best of the best gear ever and they ask if you want a cloth pants or a rusty dagger?

wat. Old body lying there, new body beamed next to it. Old body looted, it poofs ('rots'). Where's the question here?

I remember back during live, I remember reading an everquest web site that said something like... where else (but everquest) can you walk into a bank, see corpses, and not have a second thought?
