You don't have to. 45 mins is plenty of time for someone not in an NToV guild to get people to help them.

I stayed to help back when I was rolling on my shaman and plan on doing the same once I MQ a ring 7 to my rogue. I'm not sure what's changed since then, less people showing up or just no enthusiasm to lend a hand, but it was never an issue to find a handful of people able to sneak pull the chief and get the kill before the war even starts. In the limited amount of time I have for EQ, 15 min is a lot easier to squeeze in and help those individuals who can't muster up a kill force.

The roll was never 45 minutes before spawn. What did people do previously? I just don't see a reason for it to be that long before the spawn. I actually don't care if it stays at it's current time, because I just go to bed if I lose. Saves me the time... It just seems pointless to roll 45 minutes early. Why not roll at noon for the night's spawn? It's completely arbitrary anyway.
The roll is supposed to be for anyone who can make it there for the event. Well, currently it is for anyone who can make it there 45 minutes early. Why are you excluding those that cannot make it almost an hour before spawn? | ||
