Brown bears are evil. Polar bears are good. All hail our new racist bear overlords.

@_@ lol?
maybe I worded it wrong. Does evil race hides their race with the bear illusion? just the same as wolf?

I'll be honest, on live my no factions seemed to change for my shaman on bear form. Perhaps the modifier for bear was similar to that for barbarian?
Maybe a live ogre/troll/iksar shaman could speak up?

Bear form definitely impacts at least some factions - among other things, my Iksar shaman uses bear form to talk to the NRo barbarian vendors for alchemy reagents, and it works for a large number of other vendors as well. It's not perfect (I believe the NFP bards aren't fooled, though the rest are), but it's a huge help with faction issues once you get it, if you're playing an evil race. (I assume that barbarians would see little to no change.)
