Starting out trying red.

I have played EQ back in the day and on the TLP servers. Always did a Iksar Monk and want to try out a Bard on here. Are they Viable or would i just get slaughtered in the later levels? i got weird play times usually only during lunch breaks at work. Hear good and bad things about them but would like to give it a go. never played PvP before on here so that will also be interesting i think.

Bard is a great class to start with. Leveling will be a breeze.

theres more people playing red then blue, dont let the numbers fool you, blue and green is 99% afk at east commons tunnel. This "tixogeon" n00b is the a toxic scrub mad about the fact that he wasted his time on blue and has nothing to do (no pvp), btw I have Guardian Robe.

yeah the 20 players online are really 4-5 boxing

Forums here are mostly populated by bitter old crusties that have not logged on in years.

Bard is a good choice for a starting character. Shout out for me and I will set you up with a set of plate armor, some buffs to get you a few levels and some starting coin. Maybe I have a bard weapon on a random banker alt.

Grouping will be hard to find sub-20, but if you are persistent you can find players to group with.

No real PvP under level 50, so you will be pretty safe until then. By 50 you will know if the server is for you or not.
