Choose my own adventure - Eyeconic's first steps...
The journey begins...
I waited as long as I could to begin this experiment, and at the time of character creation the vote was tied between a max wisdom Human and a max strength Gnome. Ultimately, I had to do my best to interpret the spirit of what the community wanted to see, and it was fairly clear that a goofy, off-the-beaten-path adventure is what was desired. Needing to break the tie myself, I opted for the Gnome, as it's long been seen as the silliest of all the races in Norrath. Moments later, Eyeconic left the safe comfort of Ak'Anon to find himself lost among the hills and valleys of the Steamfont Mountains. With empty pockets and not a level under his belt, a kind cleric by the name of Bencle appeared in a flurry of particle effects at the nearby druid's ring. She bestowed upon him the boon of benevolence, bolstering young Eyeconic's fortitude and resilience as he descended into the valley below to plunge his dagger into the lifeless skeletons and autonomatons below. His frenzied stabs and thrusts were like a young artist's first attempts with a brush - rough, unsteady, yet inspired. His skill in piercing began to increase, one point after another, and soon the trumpets signaled the advancement of new levels. Garbed with the cloth scraps from his fallen enemies and a few gold coins, Eyeconic turned to his Gods in the Project 1999 community for guidance... Now you choose what happens next. Should Eyeconic:

Can finish off in velks! Now, what is the most koboldy path for that route?

https://wiki.project1999.com/Kobold needs some updating, but I think it's the Warrens (or Stonebrunt) ... then you have to pacify your kobold hate until you get to Sol A/B (and finally Velk's).

Story update - Day 2:
Awaiting direction from his forum Gods, Eyeconic arose from the previous night's slumber, fresh and ready to resume his fledgling adventure. With the impending threat of his sturdy resolution buff fading, he cautiously approached the nearby Kobold encampment. One Kobold turned into a dozen, and his experience increased alongside his infamy as a minor annoyance to the Kobold community. Then it happened, his worst fear coming true before his very eyes: his resolution, the source of his courage and strength, began to flicker. Without this boon he knew a different fate was in store; no longer would he menace these furry mongrels plaguing his beloved Steamfont Mountains. He would be relegated to a life nearly equivalent to that of a janitor. Culling the least threatening nuisances of the valley: spiderlings, decaying skeletons, and large rats. This would be a devasting step back for our intrepid hero, until... A gentle voice, as quiet as the wind brushing through a patch of leaves, called out in a whisper. "Assist this young druid, my ward, Azelf, in his quest bring battle the Kobolds of Faydwer. Do this for me, and you shall be rewarded." Bewildered, he discovered a season Ranger, Carguk, calling out as he blended into the foliage with the skill only found in a seasoned protector of nature. Eyeconic readily accepted this enticing offer, and was suddenly surrounded by spells provided by mother Norrath herself. His skin, harded like the elements. His feet, suddenly as fast as the the swiftest wolf. Prickly thorns sprung up all around him; harmless to his touch, but deadly to his foes. Eyeconic and Azelf tore through the Kobold's camps as if they were a force of nature. The tortured howls of the Kobold women and children permeated the air, as they grieved for the loss of their tribe's warriors, the ground filthy with blood and fur. The levels flew by, and to his delight and surprise, another mysterious voice rang out, barely discernable above the raucous noise of battle. "I've heard tell of your quest, young Eyeconic. The Gods speak of it in the hallowed halls of the 'dot com'. I have answered your call for aid." Lakemist, a druid of great power, suddenly appeared beside him. His blessings now doubled, with a shield of thorns upon him that would rival the sharpest Kobold blades, Eyeconic and Azelf reduced the once proud and dealy Kobold encampment to a mere footnote in the annals of Norrath's rich history. Now, a more capable level six rogue, Eyeconic makes his way through the forests of Faydark and into the Butcherblock Mountains. His Gods call upon him to make the long voyage to the contintent of Odus, and continue his vendetta against the Kobolds in their distant home: The Warrens. Will his growing skill in the abilities of hiding and sneaking be enough to see him through safely? Will other mysterious benefactors grace him with the tools to conquer his foes? Will the untold dangers of Kithicor, Highpass, and the Karanas deliver his first taste of mortality? Tune in for the next update!

So far he has basically been power leveled with high level buffs from either his guild members or just friendly players passing by. Very easy to grab a SoW passing through West or East commons. Either blow past the mobs in Highpass to EK or just cut through Rivervale, Runnyeye, and Beholders Maze and blow by the mobs there too to EK. The only thing that may slow him down for just a bit is getting a bind in either Erudin or Paineel. Not a lot of traffic passes through there around the clock.
