Raid staffs also did not increase pet size... Sol ro focus did. Or so my memory tells me...

Bump for the hope that my Innoruuk loot isn't useless until Kunark.

I don't think it's necessarily useless. It just means you don't have to get the sol ro focus items.

The sol ro focus items at the moment are better than the god drops.

i could have swore the focus item on live caused you to summon the highest lvl pet available ( took out the random pet lvl when summoned ) also boosted the stats to that of the next highest pet fire being the weakest to earth being the strongest. Also when you use a focus item and you do happen to summon the highest lvl pet i know that the earth pet will do a 54 point DD when casting its root spell. not sure for the fire or air water does the 108 point dd. hope this helps

This site: http://www.xalmat.com/eqsummoners.co...s-library.html
Has some very extensive information on all the different pets and shows the difference in level/hp/damage for pets summoned with sol ro focus items and with the Staff of Elemental Masterys. Unfortunately it seems to be from a time after they removed the pet level variance, since for example focused 49 pets range from lvl 40-44 here, but it lists them at 42 on that site. Nonetheless, it does highlight the difference in effect between the types of focus items and does so with specific numbers. | ||
