I always thought reaver was just for pvp. Never considered it on pve because of no magic.

It’s terrific but just a bit more specific outside of raid targets. Pretty sure it works on every one (well, maybe not Trak).

Classic: 50/50, lower guk not usable but sol b no problem at all. Any guards die quick which is nice because they are easy solo kills and drop vendor loot. The Hole/ROOP is very popular these days and it won’t work on some stuff there but you will be mid 50’s around that time so a Narandi is an option (or any cheap backup).

Kunark: a real dice toss. Lots of undead. Karnors is annoying with undead and live mixed up. Seb more camp specific.

Velious: works on almost everything but goos in WL. Again, raid targets are fine. 1/1 ratio and 12sv all...very solid at any level.

Lastly not all undead require magic weapons, just most. The reaver will kill Paineel guards just fine. Go figure. It pays to have other weapons on you. A Sword of Morning is an underrated tank weapon and Sarnak Battle Shields are cheap these days. Plus it keeps 1hs maxed if you find an upgrade (Sword of Blessings, Darkmetal Falchion, etc).
