Default EQ Crashes after Server Select

Greetings,

The other day I remoted in from work to my home machine using team viewer and thought to myself hah... wouldnt it be cool if I could actually log in... So I tried and it got to server select then crashed. Thinking nothing of it I gave up and actually did... you know... work.

Fast Forward to last night. Decided to login again and now EQ does not get past the server select. No error message or warning when it crashes it just disappears. Minimal troubleshooting had me open my eqclient.ini and set the values for video resolution to the same thing in three places (they were different) then i tried setting them to 800 x 600 etc... still crashes...

Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else before or is this a reinstall scenario?

I fixed this by shutting down teamviewer
