Since I'm not familiar with eq2 I don't really care about classic progression. I'm interested in everyone starting over and world PvP without battlegrounds.

Its already been stated that all race class combinations will be available except for beastlord and channeler which will be up to a player vote.

Thread cliffs EQ2 is releasing a server thats exactly the same as the other servers except you have to pay to play? You guys got trolled.

I would actually pay to play on a server the exact same as every other server, as long as everyone else had to pay.

But that is because I don't give a shit about $15 and if it keeps even 10% of the scumbag emu population from playing it is worth every penny.

There are 4.

The original two progression servers (not sure where in the timeline they are) - Vulak and Fippy. Then the two new ones, Ragefire and Lockjaw.

No one is trolled because the beta server isn't even out yet.

People get classic and progression servers mixed up. Only important thing to me are that expansions are time locked and battlegrounds/easy travel aren't in. Race/class combinations don't bother me.

I'm sure people will complain that classes are different because of certain changes that are in that shouldn't but there were probably countless threads up about how classes were broken and OP when the game was released too.

People will always complain.
