I remember playing with people in Kunark and even Velious who would say stuff like "oh cast your fire spells on this troll player they have low fire resist" when we had an easy 200+ on Lithiuum

It's a bit of a non factor stat

I think if you took all the trolls on the server plus all the gnomes on the server, you’d have 90 percent of the norrath criminal Pk population.

Play what you want, you can always arrange gear to make up for a resist negative.

While the ogres front stun immunity is great, the troll does make up for it in mana cycling with regen. Then again, shamans don't can't really go oom, but mana/health trading can be rough at lower levels.
