Having trouble with the spells_us.txt file

I cannot log into p99 green server atm due to an error with the spells_us.txt (2503364378) file needing to be replaced. I have replaced that file (like 5 times now) from the patch version 54 files. After replacing it i still cannot log in. Is 54 the latest patch? Am I just clueless? please advise.

P.S. I replaced the whole patch and individual files to no avail

You have to extract the latest patch (version 54) into you EQEmu folder or whatever the main folder it is that you use for EverQuest.

Literally just did this and logged in with no problems.

I have done this 4 times now with both individual files and the entire 54 patch.... not working still. Same error message

If I were in your position, I would do a fresh install of everything. Make sure you extract the patch (version 54) last so that "Duxas All In One Installer" or something else you're messing around with doesn't override or supersede it.
