Starting a paladin

So while I'm not levelling my monk I am going to level a paladin since they seem rare on this server. I won't be twinking him but I might get him a full set of bronze armor to start with. What is a good race when it comes paladins. I was thinking a human would be a great choice.

Dark elf master race. If not that - dwarves have best starting stats and extra mr. High elves are weak but are smart and good looking ( for pacify) . Humans are bland. Erudites are the worst. Pick tunare as deity for easy paladin weapon quest in plane of growth

And half-elves nobody even remembers they can paladin! O_ô

But for once I have to agree with skarlorn, barrel roll is probably your best racial attribute you can go for on a paladin [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] work on that CHA at some point to land some Lulls without aggroing tho ^^/

So I take it I should stay away from crusty armor as a paladin

Crusty is fine. Just don't be the expecting a lot of single pulls if you're the puller [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

What's a good armor set I could work towards after bronze armor?

if you make it to level 60 in bronzze u'll be an absolutely incredible paladin
