Not sure if this screenshot shows evidence, but Necro has 2 Bonds of Death spells wear off (lifetap DoT).
https://web.archive.org/web/20030120...urningwood.jpg

At one point it shows Filastil (a necro) beginning to cast a spell, then there are 2 wear off messages from Bond of Death, then Filastil says 'VoS stuck'.

Looking up necro spells, I'm guessing that is 'Venom of the Snake', according to wiki a 4.6 second casting time. Seems a long span of time for a message to receive.

Regardless, even if the Bond of Death is wearing off, I am assuming the final tick processes and you would have received the final 'Damage DoT' messages for each of those ticks. I don't see those here.

Full list of the screen archives is here, but clearly shows mid 2000ish posts of raids and the like, mentions of 'exploring kunark' etc.

I don't have info or evidence, however bard songs currently do not give a "worn off" message.
If the no dot messages are applied, bards need a way to see if their dot is still in affect.

Without a worn off message or a dot displayed, how are we supposed to properly stack dots when all we can do is guess if the dot is still going?

Please note bard songs are 4 ticks tops.

At the very least we need worn off messages for bard songs.

Also on a side note, pet buff spells also are not giving a worn of message causing yet another guessing game.

It was not intended for us to constantly guess at what is still in affect.

We are currently at the following stage of grief over DoT ticks:
................................Here.............. ................................
Denial -> Anger -> Bargaining -> Depression -> Acceptance
