corrupted hill giant
zone: rathe mountains
npc: corrupted hill giant time: ~ 5 am pst issue: i tracked a corrupted hill giant and he wasn't where track said he'd be. i cleared a bunch of regular hgs, even broog bloodbeard, and the corrupted hg would not spawn. this is clearly a bug, as i remember this npc always being up before in the spot where tracking said he ought to be. i found this related thread where someone had the same issue. thanks in advance!

When the tainted hill giant is killed, the corrupted hill giant will spawn right where the tainted died.
(http://wiki.project1999.com/Corrupted_hill_giant) The third one creature is the Corrupted Hill Giant in Rathe Mountains. You want to hunt in the HG area south of the hill with the Guard Tower in Rathe, where Cyclops can also be found. The same process applies here. Kill HGs around the tower and a tainted hill giant will spawn. Kill it and hopefully a corrupted hill giant will spawn. When it dies, loot an Ancient Rock from it. It should be the second result in the search. Hope this helps He definitely spawns on both servers and during this patch as I farm hillgiants when seafuries are busy and have seen him.

I have experienced mobs dropping into the ground in rathe mountains before but have always been a necro or mage or with one when it happened so it was never an issue.

Just kill hill giants til one pops, they don have a timer, just a random spawn in place of hill giants.
