"a fire sprite" in Lavastorm
He currently requires you to sneak before he responds to "I challenge Eejag". He also seems to be way more rare than when on live - on live he was basically always up.

As a Human, I didn't have to Sneak.
An Iksar did it as well by saying "I challenge Eejag". [Sat Jan 07 19:00:31 2012] Raenin says, 'Hail, a fire sprite' [Sat Jan 07 19:00:31 2012] a fire sprite ignores you. [Sat Jan 07 19:00:33 2012] Redmaw says, 'I challenge Eejag' [Sat Jan 07 19:00:33 2012] Eejag shouts 'What imbecile dares challenge a Celestial Fist?! Do you even know who you are challenging? HA! You are nothing but an insect! I will enjoy crushing you, I have not charred the flesh of an idiot in decades! If you truly wish to fight me, the battle shall be held in my own element. Come, challenger, come down to the pits of flowing fire.'

I also triggered him just fine with my shaman by uttering the phrase

Maybe it's fixed now. Both me and Chest had to use sneak. That was on Tuesday or Wednesday.

It was working Weds-Friday when we had a few people spawn him without using sneak.

Added more spawns, pending update. Don't see anything that would require you to sneak. Was probably just an issue of being OOR.

Rather than make a new thread...
Currently more than one Eejag can be up at a time. This isn't a problem at the moment because he's pullable (and should not be) but will be an issue once the fix goes in to root him. I looked for a bit but couldn't find any evidence that definitively proves how it worked on live one way or another but I don't think a rooted mob was typically supposed to be able to have multiple instances up. Seems like a case where GMs might end up having to despawn him a la Spiroc Lord in Plane of Sky if there is no fix for this.
