Doctors appointment went well.
Drove there. Stopped at surgery, spoke breifly with receptionist. Sat in waiting room for ≈ 15 mins.
Went in, job done.
Cya later. Even had a light chat about rugby union as he used to be the (volunteer) school team doctor.
What a pain it was. Parking was attrocious. Had to walk past 3 houses to reach it.

As a complete lolocaust, his private practice had a corrugated roof! OMFG. Good call shovel.
Good luck finding a doctor mate.

Gender reassignment is important.

Pretty fuckin awkward to have to carry in two full sized beach towels if I’m gonna be treadmill running and doing legs at the gym

Normally I’d always run outside but not when it’s likely to rain on me. So have to treadmill run and because I’m auto-timed with the timer in my face of course I have to go fast the entire time and end up getting super sweaty

So the first towel gets fully soaked from the run. Then lifting legs I’m going to continue to sweat. So I need a fresh towel. But in no other scenario should a dude be carrying two damn towels. I look like a weirdo

And ya with that much sweat I have to drink a lot, plus pre-workout caffeine always gives me cottonmouth. I drink so much that I’ll pee 3 times in just the 1.5-2hrs I’m there :/

What a fun time, hadn’t tried the treadmills at this gym ever before

So I get on one near the edge and hit manual and I can’t get the speed above 3.5. So I figure must be a bug, hop on the one next to it. Can’t get the speed above 3.5…

So hey at least it’s an excuse to talk to the super pretty girl up front. So I go up and say “am I stupid, I can’t seem to figure out how to get the speed of your treadmill above 3.5. And she’s already laughing before I can finish, and asks “which ones did you try?” And I said “the two at the end there”

And she goes “those are the only two like that. They were apparently for handicapped people and it was a safety measure”

And I said “wow so of like the 25 treadmills out there I just happened to try just those two. That’s some bad luck…” when I was really thinking handicapped? You mean handi-capable? Differently abled? You dumb bitch

Jk on last part

So I go to the first row, hop on, wow this is smooth, I like the cushion. Going to a fast 7:20m/mi two mile and all of a sudden it shuts off. And when those fuckers shut off from 8.5 to power off I plow into the front like an idiot

So that sucks, fried it? Am I that fat. So I try the one next to it. This one I can only get to 1 mile before it shuts off and I plow into the front again

Fuck this shit I’m out…done with these treadmills

Imagine if they had a convention for other addictions like they do for food addict’s fat-con

Like “Welcome to crack-con!”

Or “Welcome to heroin-con!”

- Oh they do, it’s called CA and Portland, and it’s held year round [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Male version of Influencers vs Marines (spoiler alert: influencers win)

I felt bad for poor Magnus, the elite rock climber, until I saw the grip strength exercise. I was like oh Magnus gonna crush

I honestly don't know why we allow it either.

We make gambling illegal, but being fat isn't?

I wouldn't mind if we made a fat tax, enforceable by prison time.

I litreally think the price of diabeties medication should be a billion dollars a shot.

They tried soda tax (aka a tax on skinny me) because of fat people.

Why not just tax the fat people!??!

idk, fat tax / criminalisation seems very big government and against individual determinism.

Then again, it is important to protect dignity and human welfare - if abuse of humans is criminalised, why does self-abuse get a freepass?

Personally, I struggle to find sweetners I am happy with. This isn't a problem for me as I drink water, my hot drinks unsweetened and avoid sodas.

However, on the rare occasional I want a soda, perhaps I am treating myself to some spirits n coke, I'd rather it was full sugar and unsweetened. It is a bid sad my enjoyment of an occasional treat is collateral to people who chug 5+ litres of sugar solution a day. Bless them.
