I am trying to get back into p99. I havent played since green was released and im getting an error at character select screen saying spells_us.txt. I downloaded the patch files in the FAQ section and put them into my folder. If anyone could assist me I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey Kefka,

Every “solution” I have found online for this issue is to reapply the patch.

Otherwise, a user has a recommended fix on this thread. it is from 2020.

I just did a fresh install, thanks for trying to assist Loiterius

Did another fresh install resolve the issue or is the issue persisting?
