Default Help - can only see character and npc models

I have always played on a mid 2010 MacBook (yes, the old white one) using Wine. I have logged in very rarely for the past few years but decided to hop in game yesterday and found that when I logged in I could ONLY see character models and not walls, the ground, trees etc.

I'm aware that Wine doesn't work with newer Mac OS's however I'm still running El Capitan (10.11.3) so I think I should still be able to run this if I can figure out why wall/floor/earth textures aren't showing up.

Any ideas?

Isn't that usually the result of improperly applying the v55 patch and it overwrites the subfolders' contents? I believe the fix is just reinstalling and redoing the patch.

Cool, wasn't sure about the mac side but figured the symptoms were the same so worth a shot.

Hope to see you in game!
