American life is horrible for a sizeable segment of the populace. We're a country of orcas with flopped over fins. No community. Anomie, isolation, strain. Capitalist hellscape. Nothing will change as long as Earth is an overpopulated shithole.

The answer is 95% population reduction and a caretaker AI.

the easiest and most effective things we could do to rein in these mass murder incidents would be some basic gun control measures. it wouldn't solve the problem, but it would reduce the number of deaths in a sizable way.

i don't see us addressing economic inequality, properly funding mental healthcare services, or adopting a new economic model anytime soon so it would be cool if we could maybe enact the bare minimum measures and reduce the number of horrific deaths where we can.

sad that schools, hospitals, and religious centers are not safe places to peacefully exist in america.
