Warrior question

Why are dwarves discounted as warriors in general? Is it because halflings get sneak and XP bonus?

dwarves make great warriors IMO. at 55+ the kick starts to stun so the slam issue becomes irrelevant, among the best stats including highest DEX with HFL IIRC, good looks, good natural resists and best cultural... AND BARREL ROLL#####
