Bonethunder Staff Quest working on teal/blue? - Page 3

So by max faction you mean warmly right? Ally is not a rating on green I think correct?
Or do you mean to wait until faction hits can not get any better?

I just got to kindly last night, should not be long to warmly via bandit sashes but wanted to make sure so I don’t have to do Drosco again.

I think the best test is to check with Chesgard to see if he gives you the Temple Blankets quest. There is a line of dialogue where he asks if your a Knight of Thunder. If your faction isn't high enough he won't give the quest.

As others have said I can confirm that there is no quest dialogue for Bonethunder, and yes Warmly is as high as you can get right now. I handed in the letter (by killing Mammoth; which when you do you can turn in his hide to an NPC in the druid area to get faction back) and the Thunder staff. I received Bonethunder in return.

Thanks for the help.

I ended up using bandit sashes to what i calculated to be ally rep (1051). I did the turn ins and now have my own bonethunder!

Special thanks to Shub, who helped me kill Mammoth when I realized he would not take regurgitonic without an additional rep grind. Really helped me out.

I maxed mine to the point of "cannot possibly get any better" before my turn in.

I just did a faith turn in at warmly on the green server after spending a week working up my faction standing, no dialog but I got the bonethunder staff!
