Default Blank server select screen and various other errors...

I have been playing P99 for about 5 months now, and LOVE IT! Over the last week or so though, when i try to log in, everything goes fine, until i get to the server select screen. Sometimes it is fine, and everything is normal. But a lot of times now, I get a blank server select list. I exit out, put in my password again, and sometimes it works fine. Other times, I have to repeat this a dozen or more times before it will work. Why is this happening? I have heard from other people that this has been happening for them as well. I have not changed anything on my PC or the game's settings, and I feel this is some sort of bug, What is happening? and how can I fix it?

Sometimes you can click the admin button and it will refresh the server list for EMU's but I believe it may require a re install not 100% sure though. Goodluck

Sometimes this happens to me as well. I believe I saw someone said it had something to do with eqhost.txt file being patched

Are you running windows 7/8 64 bit, and is EQ installed in your program files folder?

If it is, i'd move it to c:/everquest, then open up your eqhost.txt file, edit it to have the proper login server, save and exit. Lastly, right click the eqhost.txt file, go to properties, and check the box that says 'read-only', then hit apply/ok. Should solve the problem for the most part.

If it persists you do have the option of completely reinstalling, though I don't know if this will fix the issue or not.
